The Story of the Bird

 Once there was a bird flying and the cold air became unbearable. He couldnt keep up and the rest continued on without thinking about him. He was pissed and keep pushing, not stopping. The situation got worst. Ice started building up on his wings. The weight caused him to land and he couldnt hardly move. He thought this is it. A cow came walking by, stopped and crapped all over him. The bird got really upset. But as he lay there, the warmst started to thaw out his wings and he could move. He started to realize though, he was stuck. He was pissed. This cat comes along and hears him chripping begins to dig him out. The cat digs the bird free. Once out the bird thanks the cat and complains to the cat about the cow crapping on him. The cat turns around and eats the bird.

The moral of the story is:

1. your people you fly with wont always be there when you need them

2. When things arent going right stop and regroup, dont make a bad situation worst

3. People that crap on you arent always your enemy

4. People who dig you out of crap arent always your friend.

The term critical thinking is used as more of a control measure than actual critical thinking these days. Many say no one uses critical thinking. Especially when it comes to politics, religion and several other of the hot topics on social media. Just because someone doesn’t agree with someone doesn’t mean they don’t use critical thinking. Critical thinking doesn’t mean someone has to agree with someone else.  It means that someone thought thru something and formed a judgement or conclusion.  It doesn’t mean I have an idea and you must agree with me. Opinions are opinions.  When the opinion is preached as fact and someone doesn't agree it becomes a comment of, "you dont think, you are incapable of critical thinking." Thinking doesnt have have to be factual or have any real purpose. But if you want someone to agree with you or at least respect your idea, you have to be willing to accept that some will not...

Equal ?

 Everyone screamed for equal rights in the military.  Now someone is willing to have one PT standard.  Clarified it with some women will or wont make it and some weak men wont make it. The end result, now everyone is creaming this isnt fair.  Doesnt get anyone more fair than one standard and give everyone a shot.

Bows and arrows

 Many love compund bows and all the gadgets. I use a recurve. No sights, just the basic set up. My compund bow, same thing. I have used the sights and all the little items.   Once again I perfer doing things in a minimal way. I truely enjoy completing a shot the old fashioned way. With all the gadgets on my compund bow, its really hard to miss a shoot if you practice. With some of the items it is truely fogiving to some bad habits.  Kind of like having a golf club that was designed to have a large sweet spot on the face of it vs. having a extremely accurate swing.  Shooting my recurve requires that even with practice I need to be highly consistent.   Its just a personal choice to have things more challenging. With that said, many times I will turn cheats on my PS5 so its easier to win.
