Howling The Truth

 Good Question. Why blog, why not put it on FB,, Insta, or other social media? Why force an opinion or view, even facts.  A blog lets people read or not. Lets a person vent or not.  Overall gives everyone the opportunity to hear or not. Personnally I think a blog gives people more of option that isnt right in their face every minute of the day. Kind of like reading a newspaper. For me it doesnt clutter my social media with fake or wasted crap. The blog is on and off as I like. Where as on FB or something else, I mostly get on to see whats up. You tube tech vids and dogs. 

 With everything that goes on in the world, do you ever wonder what would happen if less involvement occurred. Basically rahter than getting stirred up on FB or some social media, people just went and did something.. Fishing, go to park, took up a sport, something that didnt provoke, stir or make them react to every single thing, that cause them to get angry.  Just food for thought. Maybe if a few more took time to step away from being pissed over things that really didnt involve them, especially things that are fake, they might find out that there is more to life than bitching on FB.

 Recently there is a big stink over the high school ball player who injuried another after the play. This has been going on for years. NFL, College, High School. As usual, there is a group who wants accountibility and a group who wants forgiveness. What about the people who condoned it, allowed it to happen and set back because of any number of reasons. Till finally they couldnt cover it any more. Dont ruin my sons future, dont let a one time incident ruin a young persons life. At end of day, maybe those who are saying this, should have stepped up back, held some ownership and control of their players, children, staff, coaches and parents. In my own time we had player who was about four years older than us, get picked up for DUI, his pusnishment was to run extra laps. That was it. he went on to become a lawyer and work for the County.  Its an unfortunate part of todays society. Provoking and instagating as it is a joke or fun. People will push and push till they receive a negative action, then become butt hurt because of it. They will claim you should control yourself.  In reality we have had laws on the books, moral guidelines and other teachings in regards to this before most of us were ever thought of. Sometimes it was called inciting a riot or something similar. So it is nothing new. Why who knows, usually it is from someone who feels self entitled or the need to make a point where no point exists, maybe just plain mean.  Just remember when pushing people to the point of reaction, right or wrong there may be no backing up.

 First I do agree with the fact that, in order to fix ssomething you have to start somewhere.  Killing a program and starting another one, that clearly matches the previous program is a tool to buy time for something that isnt working.  Fix what does work, get rid of what doesnt and buld on the existing, not destory everything and then use that as a reason to take another 50 years to repeat the same BS. Passing more bills and guidleines and laws......ok seems like a good start.....But wait a minute, there is no money to fund what we are already doing, so where does the money come from.  Remove people and waste. Ok but did you remove the right people? Did you remove waste or just make a bunch of cuts to make it look like you did? We keep hearing that things will get better, now we are told they are better, but reading the news, listening to the VFW, Legion and other groups, someone tell us how it is better and what is better.  Very simply, what we think and/or believe doesnt always align with society. Putting on the uniform,  serving has many different reasons and view points.   Overall I think the majority do it with the belief that we are protecting our country, families and way of life.  One of the many views I have held for a long time is. Go look. If you havent traveled and spent some time else where, don't tell someone who spent a year in another country how it is. I find that we now have more subject matter authorities that havent left their respective counties, much less their states , who seem to know more about the world than people who have been traveling it for 20 years or more. There is also the people who hit the tourist towns and now that is the way to live.   Really want to know aobut Mexico, Brasil, Russia, or any place. Go stay there and get out into the country. Get away from the tourist area that is geared towards making you happy. Go see the the country...

 Censorship, who knows. I mean several different people in the media was fired in last three years for opinions and statements. Kimmel nor any of his people stood up for them.  Everyday companies fire employees for their opinions, having views that dont align with the company's image. Having decals on their vehicles that are considered vulgar.   Personally I had a company tell me I couldnt post my VFW images on Linked In, because it wasnt the company's image. I chose to tell them, F Off, my linked in account was my business.The support of the VFW would continue. They have the right to terminate me for it and I have the freedom to say what I said. In the end a company gets to hire who ever they want and terminate who ever they want.  So why should a TV performer be any different.   Trying learning what youu argue about. Trying having some facts. Many people arent expressing themselves very well. They use words like facist, totalitarian, social, democrat, republician, conservative, blue, red, liberal, and many different terms we hear today.  The majority of discussions, arguements or trying to grab 15 minutes of hear me, loose any credible paltform, because they have chose to attach the wrong meaning to the wrong term.  I hear many use word facist, when it should be totalitarian. Socialist when it should be liberal, liberal when it should be socialist, Democrat, when it should be Republician. If you want to be heard, taken seriously and stand for something, at least get your facts in order to do so. You might actually get some support if you present a valid view with facts to back it up.

 Be ware of those, that use words to control the outcome of you. Words like, that was aggressive, that was rude, that was out there, wow (in the middle of you talking) and many other words that are aimed at down playing your opinion, belief or factual outcome.   Dont forget they will generally use words of control with the eye rolls, facial displays or some form of non communication to overshadow what you are doing.  There are many out there that will use words to change direction or make you seem like you are the problem or you are at fault. When the truth is, you nailed it and they cant handle the truth. They cant stand for the fact that you were spot on with your words. So in turn, their only recourse is to make you seem like a problem and many times do it in a public forum. With only their side being spun. f
